OSKi x Nike SB – Orange Label

Oskar Rozenberg wraz z Nike Skateboarding przygotował dla nas mini kolekcję, która obejmuje buty i ciuchy. Wszystko w ramach serii Orange Label kierowanej przede wszystkim do skejtów, której dystrybucją zajmują się skateshopy.

Co prawda OSKi nie otrzymał własnego pełnoprawnego promodelu. Udało mu się jednak zrobić coś czego nikt wcześniej nie próbował. Słynna „łyżwa” zwana też Swooshem na jednym z butów zmieniła kształt i przybrała postać rekina. Jak mówi sam Oski, gdy pomysł pojawił się w jego głowie obawiał się, że zostanie wyśmiany przez projektantów. Na jego szczęście tak się nie stało, a jego pomysł został wdrożony. Wszystko na kanwie modelu Dunk High, który trzeba przyznać prezentuje się zajebiście.

Obok dunków pojawiły się Blazery w wersji mid, wszystko zwieńczone jest linią ciuchów. Kulisy kolaboracji Oski zdradza na swoim instagramie, oryginalny post załączamy poniżej. Myślę, że to nie jest wszystko co Oskar Rozenberg szykuje dla nas w najbliższym czasie.

PS. Wprawne oko w poniższym poście rozpozna jeden z fajniejszych Krakowskich spotów deskorolkowych, chłopaki byli w jakiś czas temu w Polsce. Oby więcej takich wycieczek!

When I first got the word that I would be given the great opportunity to design two shoes for @nikesb i already knew what I was going to do with one of them.. For the other shoe, all I knew was that I wanted it to be a dunk high and I wanted to do something that had never been done before, perhaps messing with the swoosh. It took a while to figure out exactly what that would be and once I finally had figured out that I wanted to change the swoosh into a shark, I was convinced that my idea was too brave. When I first presented the idea (and my terrible sketches) to @porschepelle and the rest of the design team in Beaverton, I was hoping they wouldn’t laugh at me and even though I have now, 9 months after that first meeting, skated 5 pairs of them, been a part of the opening of a new skatepark with the shark swoosh painted on it’s walls, seen the shoe sell out in stores and ultimately witness friends and others wear them, i still can’t figure out how it actually was possible for the idea to become reality. I feel truly privileged to have been trusted with the responsibility to direct not only the design process but also all the other features that this multi leveled project came with. Thanks to everyone who supports us, our friends and skateboarding not only by buying clothes but far more importantly by riding a skateboard for the right reasons and doing what you love.
